Tips and Tricks

  • Let the berry mixture cool completely before assembling so it does not make the yogurt watery.
  • Adding granola ahead of time will be it soggy. So feel free to add the granola just before serving if you prefer it crunchy.
  • Frozen berries work perfectly for this recipe and can be used year-round.

Instructions

  1. Cook the berries

Add the berries, honey or maple syrup and vanilla to a small saucepan.

Remove from the heat. Reserve around 1/4 cup from the berries (it will be added to the yogurt).

Add chia seeds, stir well and let it cool completely.

  1. Prepare the yogurt

In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt with the reserved berry sauce.

  1. Assemble

Spoon a layer of yogurt into the bottom of each jar. Add a layer of cooled berry chia jam, followed by granola. Repeat the layers until the cups are full, finishing with fresh berries and granola.

  1. Serve

Serve immediately. You refrigerate for up to 2 days. Add the granola just before serving if you want it to stay crunchy
